At Home Yoga Poses

Have you ever started of the year with the intention to exercise more? Have you signed up for a gym to only flake after a month? It’s okay we understand. We have been there. That’s why we bring you our simple easy yoga tips that you can do in the comfort of your own bedroom. Once doing a few poses you can climb in bed and watch your favourite show. Sounds great right? Keep reading….

The Mountain Pose
-Begin by standing with your feet together, your back straight and your arms at sides.
-Inhale and raise your hands overhead, your palms facing each other with arms straight. Reach up towards the sky with your fingertips.
-Bring your hands down with your palms pressed and exhale.

-Stand with your legs apart and turn your right foot out 90 degrees and your left food slightly in
-Bring your hands to your hips and relax your shoulders, then make sure to extend your arms to the sides with your palms facing down
-Bend your right knee 90 degrees, keeping the knee over ankle. Maintain pose for 1 minute.

Downward Dog
-Start on all fours with your hands directly under your shoulders and knees under your hips
-Move hands forward and spread fingers wide, ensuring you press palms onto mat
-Curl your toes and press hips towards the ceiling, arching your back into an inverted V
-Hold for 3 full breaths
